Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their dry cleaning and laundry inquiries
- Process garment orders accurately, including cash transactions and receipts
- Operate pressing machines, garment finishing equipment, and fabric care machinery with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all cleaning detergents and tools are properly stored
- Handle heavy lifting when transporting garments or supplies safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage cash handling duties accurately while processing payments and balancing registers at shift end
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for delivering top-tier customer service
- Knowledge of garment care techniques including dry cleaning, pressing, garment finishing, and fabric care
- Familiarity with pressing machines, laundry services, and garment care machine operation
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and material movement
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing receipts
- Strong attention to cleanliness for maintaining a tidy workspace using appropriate cleaning detergents
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
