Position: Engineer
Location: Hybrid (North Hollywood when OnSite)
Reports to: Chief Engineer

General Description

Now we seek to add another creative and motivated individual who is committed to finding successful answers to our client’s needs. This fast paced, high-energy position will be responsible for multiple areas of engineering efforts of the company.
Responsibilities
· All company QC programs with production factory partners.
· Ability to think out of the box when it comes problem solving.
· Manage the maintenance programs with the Engineering Specialist for all sales persons samples.
· Partner with the Chief Engineer in procuring product development samples.
· Bring Product to market ensuring that all elements of a product launch are completed all the way through to sales samples and marketing material.
· Integrate with the VSMP team on product management and future development.
· Work to define the ACT program for future training.
· Work on Patent plans for filings and logging with the legal team and corporate compliance.
· Work on all safety programs with On Point so we have the latest standards incorporated in the Meridian Academy.
· Help develop the Meridian Museum, which will assist in the new employee on boarding programs.
Skills needed:
· Proficient in Excel, Solid works and additional programs, Adobe and AI.
· Both electrical and mechanical engineering experience
· Critical thinking skills
· Problem solving and an enquiring mind
· Strong communication skills with a sense of urgency.
· Understanding of ASTM, DOT standards and crash testing
· Like to work min a team environment
· Enjoys the fast-moving entrepreneurial work environment
· Attention to detail and any knock-on effects associated with product development.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
