Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Nightly Operations Manager to oversee our nightly collection teams and ensure nightly valet trash routes are completed safely, and up to company standards. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who is comfortable working nights in deferent weather condition, managing small teams, and ensuring smooth nightly operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nightly collection team members.
- Responsible for arranging coverage and ensuring routes and jobs are complete each night.
- The operations manager is accountable for making sure all jobs are finished either by assigning coverage or completing it personally.
- Monitor route completion, quality, and timeliness of all assigned areas.
- Conduct nightly check-ins and resolve any on-route issues.
- Ensure company policies, safety standards, and service quality are consistently met.
- Report operational updates, incidents, and route completion summaries to management.
- Help with collections as needed to maintain efficiency and coverage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of management or supervisory experience (operations, logistics, or related field preferred).
- Valet trash experience is preferred
- Must be proficient using mobile apps to manage routes and communicate with team members.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance.
- Must own a dependable open-bed pickup truck.
- Be able to lift to 50 lbs. While going up and down multiple stairs.
- Ability to work overnight hours and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a small team effectively.
Schedule
Worknights are Sunday through Thursday night. Typically starting at 7:00 pm-12:00am
Responsible to ensure all nightly routes are completed.
Pay
- This position pays a flat rate of $100.00 per night, which typically averages around $2200 per month, depending on the number of days worked.
