Job Description:
Our top client is hiring an Enterprise Network Engineer (IP) to support the Enterprise Voice team for DISA customers and the DoD. You will play a critical role in engineering, sustaining, and troubleshooting a large-scale, highly resilient IP voice and networking infrastructure. You will work directly with network engineers, implementation teams, and operational stakeholders to maintain secure, reliable, and uninterrupted DISA voice services across the network.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of network engineering experience – routing, switching, and troubleshooting in enterprise or DoD environments
o Including DNS (server administration and resolution troubleshooting), DHCP (IP assignments), and general routing/troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with routing protocols – BGP (preferred), OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, static routing, VLAN/inter-VLAN routing, HSRP/VRRP
- Experience supporting IP-based voice/VoIP concepts and platforms (Cisco Unified Communications/Call Manager/CUCM/Voice Gateways/Unity preferred)
- Understanding of network encryption concepts including IPSec, SRTP, SSH/TLS/SIPS/SIP protocols, encrypted device management
- CompTIA Security+ certification or IAT level II higher REQUIRED
- Active Secret clearance REQUIRED
Nice to have:

- Experience implementing and supporting BGP routing protocols
- Experience with Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) including associated G.711 and G.729 codecs and Digital Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF)
- Cisco Certified (CCNA/CCNP Collaboration) or Juniper Certified (JNCIA/JNCIS) credentials
Responsibilities:
- Performs engineering tasks to maintain a large, complex, and highly resilient IP voice and video communications infrastructure.
- Manages, configures, troubleshoots, and assures service supporting all aspects of a voice, video, and data network.
- Configures and implements calling search spaces, route plans, route partitions, route lists, and device profiles (Cisco) or the Juniper equivalent for dial plan and session routing management.
- Performs system maintenance, supports capacity planning activities, and completes configuration change actions and documentation efforts.
- Must be organized, document-oriented, possess skills in diagramming, and understand WAN principles.
- Collaborates with network engineers and operational stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of DISA voice services.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to voice signaling, call routing, and IP network performance.
