Underground Driller
SBI is seeking applications from experienced raise bore drillers. We are located in Golden, CO and have over 30 years in business. The job is based throughout mine sites in the USA.
Responsibilities:
Setting up and operating Drill Rig
Perform daily and preventative maintenance on machine
Complete daily reporting and inspections
Maintains records of all activities and equipment at site including inventory
Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Must be able to lift 70 lbs
Eligible to work legally in USA
This position requires significant time doing manual labor functions, walking on uneven ground, working in tight spaces and in general, being overall physically demanding.
Must perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Must follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
Able to work up to 7 days per week in an all-weather environment is required.
Must possess good communication, arithmetic, data entry and recording skills
Possess strong mechanical aptitude
Possess working knowledge of hydraulic and hydraulic drive systems
Possess working electrical knowledge
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an underground mining environment (e.g. directional, longhole, water bore, etc
Preferred Minimum 1 year experience drilling experience
Valid Driver’s License
Willing to Travel 75%
Must possess at a minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent
Salary based on experience. Package includes 401k, PTO and health benefits.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
