We're seeking a highly organized Operations/Medical Liaison to support our psychiatric providers and serve as the connection between medical, clinical, admissions, case management, and operations. This role combines medical coordination, administrative responsibilities, and provider support to help ensure seamless client care and efficient daily operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate psychiatric provider schedules and client appointments
- Serve as the liaison between medical providers, clinicians, admissions, case management, and operations
- Assist providers with medication refills, pharmacy communication, and medication-related workflows
- Coordinate laboratory orders, referrals, and medical documentation
- Communicate important client updates between departments to promote continuity of care
- Support providers by preparing charts, reviewing documentation, and ensuring required forms and consents are completed
- Manage administrative workflows related to psychiatric and medical services
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team to provide exceptional client care
- Track and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Help streamline medical operations while improving the client experience
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) or in a behavioral health setting preferred.
- Experience with medication observation, administration, and medication counts preferred.
- Experience using Kipu EMR strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with behavioral health workflows, provider coordination, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable collaborating with medical providers, clinicians, and operations staff.
- Experience coordinating client care, documentation, and administrative workflows is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Experience in behavioral health or healthcare preferred
- Comfortable coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for teamwork and providing outstanding client care
- High School Diploma or GED
