HR Manager

West Coast Consulting is a leading IT staffing and consulting firm based in Irvine, CA. We
connect top technology professionals with Fortune 500 companies and are looking for an
experienced HR Manager to oversee our internal HR operations and support our onsultants
and employees.
Responsibilities
● Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee
records.
● Serve as the primary HR point of contact for consultants and internal employees,
addressing HR-related questions and concerns.
● Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations.
● Track and manage work authorization and visa statuses (H-1B, OPT, CPT, TN, EAD,
Green Card, etc.) while coordinating with immigration attorneys as needed.
● Oversee consultant onboarding, including employment documentation, background
checks, orientations, and client onboarding requirements.
● Lead recruiting and hiring efforts for future internal corporate positions.
● Maintain personnel files, HR systems, benefits administration, and performance review
processes.
● Plan employee engagement initiatives, including birthdays, anniversaries, recognition
programs, and company events.
● Partner with leadership on HR initiatives, employee relations, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
Required
● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
● 4+ years of Human Resources experience.
● Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR compliance.
● Experience with employee onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations.
● Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred
● Experience in the staffing, recruiting, or consulting industry.
● Knowledge of employment-based visas (H-1B, OPT, CPT, TN, EAD, Green Card
process).
● Experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
● SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
