Responsibilities
- Facilitate workgroups with state and regional leadership to develop and implement regional and local marketing strategy plans aligned with the CHS Strategic Plan.
- Coordinate marketing content requests and submissions to the Office of Communications within established timelines.
- Develop, update, and maintain regional and local webpages featuring standardized organizational content as well as location-specific information, programs, services, and events.
- Design, coordinate, and obtain appropriate approvals for printed and digital marketing and educational materials in accordance with organizational branding and communication standards.
- Collaborate with Health Promotion Coordinators to create culturally relevant outreach and educational materials addressing public health misinformation, building community trust, and improving awareness of health department services.
- Ensure communications comply with organizational branding, messaging, and accessibility standards.
- Foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support community engagement and public health outreach initiatives.
- Monitor communication initiatives and recommend improvements to increase community engagement and outreach effectiveness.
- Work with an advertising firm to create and design marketing campaigns supporting public health programs.
- Support marketing and communication efforts across 7 regions and 89 counties throughout Tennessee.
- Travel across the state as required, up to 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor//'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience developing marketing strategies, managing digital communications, and creating print and web content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple marketing projects and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with website content management systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graphic design experience.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Knowledge of public health communication principles.
- Experience with community engagement strategies.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST, 37.5 hours per week.
Travel
- Travel across the state of Tennessee may be required by up to 25%.
