Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with child’s capacity in a homeschool support environment.
- Foster a safe classroom environment through effective classroom management.
- Engage with children to support their social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to further their learning.
- Maintain simple student binders
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience
- Strong knowledge of supportive homeschooling principles or willingness to learn.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning and classroom management.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and students’ families.
- Familiarity with assessing reading and math skills.
