POSITION: OREGON MARKET LEADER
POSITION PURPOSE: The Oregon Market Leader is the Market Executive and part of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for the execution of the company’s strategy in the state of Oregon and SW Washington. This includes all brands and service offerings, including consulting and direct placement as well as leading business development efforts in the market, consultant talent acquisition and retention and client acquisition and satisfaction.
ACCOUNTABILITY: The Oregon Market Leader is accountable to the Executive Manager of CFO Selections.
SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES: The position oversees Consulting Practice Managers and Business Development Managers as well as oversight of the client service delivery team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN ASSIGNED GEOGRAPHIC MARKET AREA (state of Oregon and SW Washington:
- Acts as primary point of contact for all internal and external parties in assigned geographic market. This role is the physical face of the firm in the market.
- Leads the business development activities for the market, which includes managing assigned firm business development resources (employees and outside vendors). Leads this work in partnership with the firm’s Business Development Leader.
- Works with Consulting Practice Managers in managing consultant utilization, client satisfaction and consultant satisfaction.
- Supports Consulting Practice Managers on evaluating new client opportunities and takes part in client pitch meetings as needed.
- Oversees Accounts Receivable collection efforts of Consulting Practice Managers.
- Maintains regular contact with the market’s largest clients.
- Maintains regular in person and video contact with market’s referral partners’ leaders (CEO’s, managing partners, market Presidents).
- Participates in CEO focused peer groups, seminars and events.
- Takes part in company meetings as required for the position.
- Maintains adequate records in company CRM system for business development activities, internal recruiting activities, consulting team utilization and client activities and interactions.
- Ensures established quality standards are set, maintained, and client satisfaction is at a high level.
- Attracts and retains quality consultants.
- Participates in consultant interview process.
- Provides recommendations to improve market performance.
EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
· Develops and maintains relationships with Clients
· Develops and maintains relationships with leaders of key referral sources and influential individuals and businesses in assigned market area.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a preference for degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
- Experience working in a company that provides business services, consulting services preferred.
- Experience managing professional service providers (preference for accounting, finance, or management consultants).
- Experience delivering a professional service (preference for accounting, finance, or management consultants).
- History of building and maintaining a professional network that is utilized for mutually beneficial purposes.
- Resides in the Portland Metro area
- Strong understanding of how an organization operates to achieve goals (knowledge of various departments, accounting, HR, IT, sales, operations, production, marketing).
- Experience working with a CEO or business owner (either as service provider or as an employee).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to complete daily detailed tasks while also thinking strategically.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as assigned.
- Ability to be resourceful, self-confident, able to self-manage.
Pay: $230,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
