Role Summary
Bodorlaser Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to support business growth in Michigan. This is a full-time remote position responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, including business development, account management, customer engagement, contract negotiation, and post-sale support.
The ideal candidate combines strong sales and relationship-building skills with technical aptitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment. This role requires close collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and expand market share within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers.
- Own the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand application needs, provide technical product information, and develop long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with Service, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities to strengthen brand awareness and generate leads.
- Work with global teams to support equipment configurations, technical requirements, and proposal development.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- 2–10 years of experience in industrial equipment, machine tools, manufacturing, or technical sales.
- Strong self-motivation and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions and time zones.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% within the U.S., primarily throughout Michigan.
- Flexibility to occasionally collaborate with global teams outside regular business hours.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience selling laser cutting equipment, CNC machines, or other industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Experience working in multinational or cross-cultural environments.
- Candidates located in the Detroit, Lansing, or Grand Rapids area are preferred.
- Mandarin Chinese language skills are preferred.
Location
This is a full-time remote position supporting customers throughout Michigan and the Great Lakes region. Candidates based in Detroit, Lansing, or Grand Rapids are preferred. Qualified candidates located elsewhere within the region will also be considered.
Compensation
Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for commissions and performance bonuses. Total annual compensation is expected to range from $100,000 to $150,000+, depending on individual and company performance.
