Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and motivated PMHNP's to join our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for those who are looking to build a strong clinical foundation in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment. As a PMHNP Resident at LTAW, you will work under the supervision and guidance of experienced psychiatric providers, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse patient population and a wide range of psychiatric conditions and treatment modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews under supervision
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with attending provider oversight
- Provide telehealth and in-person care across assigned LTAW locations
- Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and facility staff in SNF, ALF, and hospital settings
- Support referrals and coordination for TMS therapy and Spravato treatments
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in AdvancedMD (EMR)
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing clinical education
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a PMHNP specialization
- Current or pending PMHNP board certification (ANCC or AANP)
- Active Florida APRN license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Experienced PMHNP's strongly encouraged to apply
