Axcess Aviation Maintenance Services is currently seeking an Avionics Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate has an A&P License and will have been involved in running and managing avionics installations and upgrades, STC installs and ADS-B installations; as well as electrical troubleshooting and diagnosing discrepancies. Responsibilities:
- Repair and install instrumentation on aircraft
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems on aircraft
- Install new instrumentation on aircraft
- Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft equipment
- Repair and maintain a clean work area and appearance of aircraft
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Avionics Technician who has completed FAR 91.411 and 91.413.
- Previous experience with working in a shop environment required.
- Familiarity with hand tools required (hammer, wrench, screwdriver, spanner, pliers)
- Experience using power tools required (power drill & electric drill)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently required
- Ability to climb up and down a ladder multiple times per day required
- Ability to work in heights above the work area required (up to 15 feet)
