Katherine’s Place at Wedington is seeking a dependable and compassionate Transport Aide/CNA to join our team. This position combines Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities with resident transportation services, helping ensure our residents arrive safely and comfortably to appointments and transitions of care. When transportation duties are complete, you'll work on the floor as a CNA assisting residents and supporting the nursing team.
Before You Apply – Do You Qualify?
- Hold a current, active Arkansas CNA license in good standing.
- Can reliably commute to our Fayetteville location.
- Can successfully pass a background check.
- Can provide valid Form I-9 Documents
- Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
- Have the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent resident care standards.
Responsibilities
In addition to performing Certified Nursing Assistant duties, the Transport Aide/CNA will:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date transportation log and daily transport schedule.
- Ensure transport schedules are current and accessible to staff responsible for coordinating appointments.
- Verify transportation details, including appointment times and locations, at least one hour before each transport and document verification.
- Monitor the facility vehicle maintenance schedule and coordinate required maintenance and repairs while maintaining proper documentation.
- Pick up new admissions as directed.
- Transport discharged residents as directed.
- Transport residents transferring to other facilities or services as directed.
- Provide safe, courteous, and timely transportation services.
- Assist fellow CNAs with resident care and daily tasks when not actively performing transportation duties.
- Maintain proper care and use of facility equipment and supplies.
- Exercise sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- 8 am - 5 pm
- Monday–Friday

- CNA Certification
- Driver's License
