Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret wiring diagrams and repair procedures for complex systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Repair or replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment.
- Conduct wheel alignments and wheel balancing to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire longevity.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify potential issues before they become major problems, emphasizing vehicle maintenance best practices.
- Document all repairs and services performed accurately for auto estimating purposes and customer records.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including diesel engine repair, GM vehicle systems, and electronic control modules.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending necessary maintenance to enhance vehicle longevity.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service technician roles.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diagnostics tools.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, and powertrain repairs.
- Mechanical expertise in engine repair, transmissions, diesel engines, welding, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service principles to ensure transparent communication with clients.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service machinery.
- Ability to work efficiently on GM vehicles as well as other makes requiring complex diagnostics or repairs.

Pay: $20.00 - $45.09 per hour
