Position Overview:
- Role: Assistant Teacher
- Location: Center City, Philadelphia
- Environment: Family-like, collaborative, where learning and play go hand-in-hand
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging, developmentally appropriate programs and managing the classroom
- Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Assist with lesson planning and curriculum development
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
- Help to prepare classroom materials and maintain cleanliness and safety
- Provide individualized support to children as needed
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate on curriculum planning, with a focus on Jewish values and rituals (Judaic knowledge is a plus but not required)
