A Rite Lite Signs (RLS) Project Manager (PM) has the versatility to manage a complex array of activities, people, personalities, and processes in order to accept and bring customer orders to successful completion. The PM must manage the order fulfillment execution through its various stages, extracting, retaining, and conveying critical information and juggling competing priorities to navigate through the implementation of the myriad of elements of a job. S/He must strive to maintain friendly relations with client representatives and provide effective interface and responsiveness with internal resources, while constructing a realistic project plan, and often balancing timelines and parallel completion paths, to ensure delivery of desired outcomes on time, via the scheduling of tasks and the coordination of delegated assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources – both internal and external – for assigned projects.
· Manages an effective handoff from Salesperson, ensuring order transition elements are complete and received drawings are compliant for production use (may require collaboration with Art Department for modifications).
· Effectively interacts with commercial customer resources and municipalities, building communicative relationships with clients. Coordinates any needed order changes to inform customers and gain authorization.
· Maintains an understanding of RLS shop and installation capabilities, working with operations management to determine inside versus outside sourcing of needs.
· Proficient in identifying external needs and selecting appropriate vendor support.
· Schedules and directs necessary customer location surveys.
· Requisitions outsourced items, as required, and processes associated documentation and payment authorizations.
· When permit required, ensures application is processed, including update of necessary other information and/or drawings are included.
· Ensures compliance to code, managing any necessary changes to gain adherence.
· Manages submittals for stamped engineering, if required.
· Coordinates any temporary banners/signage that may be required.
· Builds thorough and comprehensive work orders, inclusive of all necessary documentation and specifications. Creates and distributes accompanying work order packets for production and assembly.
· As (and when) necessary, visit customer site to ensure readiness and make any arrangements for prep for installation and any necessary inspections.
· After installation, ensures completion photos are in place and filed.
· Manages invoice generation and sale status of completed jobs, within RLS ERP system, initiates final inspections process.

· Bachelor’s degree is preferred but a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, with relevant experience and/or training potentially substituting for formal educational credentials.
· Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating (i.e., able to fluently read, speak, write, and understand) in the English language.
· Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or government regulations.
· Must have at least basic math skills, to calculate figures and amounts (such as margins, mark-ups, discounts, interest, percentages, proportions, area, circumference, and volume).
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization might exist.
· Demonstrated computer skills, with effective working knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheets.
· Ultimately will need to master use of RLS ERP system (Control).

Pay: $55,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
