Position Summary
Gemini Tech Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Learning Management Systems (LMS) Coordinator to provide administrative, instructional technology, and learning-management support for a professional training and education program.
This is a civilian contractor position. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration and operation of the organization's learning management system, virtual classroom platforms, student records, and related administrative processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with learning management systems, virtual training technologies, electronic records, student or participant administration, and administrative reporting. The position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting instructors, administrators, students, and program leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform assigned administrative and LMS support tasks under the direction of the LMS Administrator.
- Serve as the Lead LMS Coordinator when assigned or required.
- Provide daily administrative and technology support for an eight-hour workday under the direction of the LMS Administrator.
- Collect, enter, post, review, coordinate, and maintain electronic student and training records.
- Provide administrative and technology support for learning management systems such as Moodle, Blackboard, or comparable platforms.
- Assist with the setup, administration, and support of virtual classrooms using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or comparable virtual meeting technologies.
- Support students, instructors, facilitators, presenters, and program staff with LMS and virtual classroom technology.
- Monitor multiple virtual or physical classrooms simultaneously, when required, to provide technical assistance and resolve routine technology issues.
- Assist with student registration, enrollment, onboarding, in-processing, and completion activities.
- Maintain accurate participant, attendance, enrollment, and training records.
- Prepare personnel, attendance, enrollment, participation, and other program-management reports.
- Maintain electronic records and ensure information is entered accurately and in accordance with established company and program procedures.
- Prepare routine correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other administrative materials.
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of training activities.
- Support instructors and program staff with classroom preparation and technology requirements.
- Assist with troubleshooting common LMS, virtual classroom, computer, audio/video, and connectivity issues.
- Provide customer service and timely assistance to students and staff experiencing LMS or technology-related problems.
- Prepare reports, briefings, status updates, and other management information as requested.
- Perform routine administrative duties, including document management and mail or distribution activities, when assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate handling of student, employee, and company information.
- Follow established company policies, procedures, quality standards, and applicable contract requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in learning management, training administration, education administration, student services, personnel administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience supporting a Learning Management System such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or a comparable platform.
- Experience supporting virtual training or online learning technologies.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a team-lead, supervisory, coordinator, or similar leadership role.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a professional team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping.
- Ability to provide professional customer service to students, instructors, staff, and other program participants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six (6) or more years of experience in LMS administration, training administration, student services, education administration, or a related field.
- Three (3) or more years of supervisory, team-lead, or program-coordination experience.
- Experience administering Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or another enterprise-level LMS.
- Experience supporting multiple classrooms or virtual training sessions simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar virtual collaboration platforms.
- Experience preparing operational, enrollment, attendance, or training-management reports.
- Master's degree in Education, Information Technology, Business Administration, Training and Development, or a related field.

SCA / Contractor Employment Requirements
This position is performed under a government services contract and is subject to the requirements applicable to the contract and any applicable Service Contract Act (SCA) wage determination.
Compensation and fringe benefits will be provided in accordance with the applicable contract requirements, SCA wage determination, and Gemini Tech Services, LLC policies.
The applicable SCA labor classification, minimum wage, and fringe-benefit requirements will be determined based on the contract and work location and will be reflected in the applicable employment offer.
Physical Requirements
The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Sitting and working at a computer for extended periods.
- Standing and walking as required to support training activities.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials weighing approximately 10–15 pounds.
- Bending, stooping, reaching, and other routine movements associated with office and classroom support.
- Ability to work in a typical office, classroom, training, or professional learning environment.
Occasional extended hours may be required based on program requirements.
Work Environment
The position is primarily performed in a professional office, classroom, or training environment. The employee may periodically work in different training spaces or facilities to support scheduled activities.
The position may require occasional work outside normal business hours based on training schedules or program requirements.
