Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license (California)
- Previous experience as a school-based OT or direct expertise working with students (preferred)
- Ability and willingness to travel between school sites (mileage reimbursement offered)
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, student-centered therapy
- Comfortable working independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students individually and in groups as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, contribute to eligibility determinations, and develop intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student access to the educational curriculum
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation, progress reports, and records
- Travel between designated school sites, ensuring comprehensive and consistent service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings and support ongoing case management responsibilities
- Utilize creativity to adapt therapy interventions across a variety of settings and age groups
