Now Hiring: Licensed Therapist — Windermere, FL
We’re looking for an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT to join our outpatient mental health practice in Windermere, Florida.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position with a hybrid schedule:
- Primarily virtual/telehealth appointments
- Availability to see in-person clients in our Windermere office approximately once per week, as needed
- Hourly compensation
- Flexible scheduling
- No benefits provided (contract position)

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, or family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies at all times.
- Foster a safe, welcoming environment that encourages open communication and trust among clients.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (e.g., LMHC, LCPC, LCSW) in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Prior experience providing mental health counseling in clinical or community settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in mental health practice.
