Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $42,000–$46,000 per year + performance-based bonus opportunity

At KidStrong, we help kids win at life by building confidence, character, and physical strength through our science-based training program. As Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in bringing that mission to life while helping us launch, grow, and operate a successful new center.
This is not simply a coaching position. We are looking for someone who wants to lead people, drive sales, take ownership, and help build a business.
COMPENSATION & GROWTH
- Base Salary: $42,000–$46,000 annually, based on experience
- Performance-Based Bonus Opportunity: Additional compensation tied to center performance, sales, membership growth, and other key performance goals (could total up to $10,000).

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Drive Membership & Sales
Growth is a major part of this role. You will work alongside the General Manager to help build a thriving KidStrong center by:
- Following up with prospective families through phone calls, texts, and emails
- Converting leads and introductory classes into memberships
- Conducting center tours and confidently communicating the value of KidStrong
- Building relationships with current and prospective families
- Tracking sales activity and working toward center membership and revenue goals
- Identifying opportunities to improve conversion and retention
- Participating in community events, partnerships, and grassroots marketing efforts
You should be someone who is comfortable having sales conversations, following up consistently, and working toward measurable goals.
Lead the Team
Great centers require great teams. You will help the General Manager:
- Lead, motivate, and develop KidStrong Coaches
- Provide feedback and coaching to improve team performance
- Help create an energetic, positive, and accountable center culture
- Assist with staff scheduling and day-to-day team management
- Step into a leadership role when the General Manager is not in the center
We are looking for someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
Own the Operations
You will help ensure the center runs smoothly every day by:
- Supporting daily center operations
- Maintaining KidStrong standards and procedures
- Helping manage schedules, staffing, and center organization
- Monitoring key performance indicators and helping develop action plans when goals aren't being met
- Creating an exceptional experience for every family who walks through our doors
Coach & Inspire Kids
Our leadership team stays connected to our product.
The Assistant General Manager will coach KidStrong classes each week (12-15), working directly with children approximately 6 months through 11 years old.
You need to bring energy, confidence, positivity, and the ability to command a room.

Experience in sales, management, fitness, youth programming, hospitality, retail, education, or customer service is valuable, but finding the right person is most important to us.

SCHEDULE & REQUIREMENTS
This position requires flexibility and availability during KidStrong's busiest hours, including evenings and weekends.
Candidates must also be able to:
- Actively participate in and demonstrate KidStrong programming
- Safely lift and move equipment as required
- Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification
- Successfully complete all required background checks and clearances for working with children
