Job Title: Janitorial Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible member to join our team for janitorial services. The ideal candidate will assist our staff in providing and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members, staff, and visitors. This role requires a passion for animals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining cleanliness in all areas of facility (lobbies, break rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, etc.)
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping down surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning windows/mirrors/glass surfaces, etc.
- Responding to any spills or hazards promptly to prevent accidents
- Ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Maintaining accurate inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to Manager(s)
- Ensuring all cleaning chemical are used and stored safely
Experience:
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience in animal hospital/setting preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfecting practices and procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
Skills:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable with physical demands (lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, etc.)
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work safely with variety of cleaning supplies
- Basic maintenance
- Basic building repairs
- Basic cleaning and other janitorial work
- Sense of energy and urgency
- Customer service
