Duties
- Conduct nightly audits by reviewing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and account balances.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily revenue, occupancy, and other operational metrics for management review.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, providing personalized service to enhance their stay.
- Monitor security systems such as CCTV cameras and conduct routine inspections of public areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations or guest concerns, coordinating with relevant departments as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
- Ensure all front desk equipment, multi-line phone systems, and reservation software are functioning correctly for smooth operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with a focus on night audit or front desk functions.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries confidently over the phone and in person.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attentiveness.
- Familiarity with guest relations practices and hotel safety protocols is preferred.
- Previous experience in resort settings or large hotels is advantageous for understanding complex operations.
