Seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Specialist to support residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction operations, project coordination, site safety, and quality control. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects.
- Monitor job site activities to ensure work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Review blueprints, project plans, and construction documents.
- Track materials, equipment, and labor requirements.
- Identify and resolve construction-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; construction-related certification or degree preferred.
- 2+ years of construction, project coordination, or field experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- Project management experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
