Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, providing product information and recommendations.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts.
- Conduct product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase store revenue.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store remains clean, organized, and inviting.
- Manage inventory by stocking new products, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with merchandising strategies.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, resolving issues promptly and courteously.
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments with strong cashiering skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customers effectively.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products through engaging product demos and customer interactions.
- Supervising experience preferred to support team coordination and store operations.
- Strong customer service orientation with friendly phone etiquette and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
