Child Care Central, a program of Talladega, Clay, Randolph Child Care Corporation (TCR), is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Eligibility Case Worker to join our team. In this role, you will help families access childcare assistance programs, connect them with community resources, and support working parents as they strive to provide the best care for their children.

What You'll Do
As an Eligibility Case Worker, you will:
- Process childcare subsidy applications and determine program eligibility
- Conduct interviews and collect required documentation
- Travel periodically to regional offices to assist families with eligibility services
- Explain program requirements, participant responsibilities, and available resources
- Maintain accurate client and provider records
- Monitor attendance, enrollment, and case activity
- Process provider reimbursements and overpayment claims
- Assist families in locating quality childcare options
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, providers, and community partners
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in customer service, clerical work, case management, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Commitment to providing respectful and compassionate service to diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college coursework
- Experience working with public assistance programs, childcare services, or social service agencies
