Christ the King Lutheran Church in Enterprise, AL is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant to support the Pastor and the operation of the church. Duties include:
- Sunday worship bulletin production
- Announcement and worship service PowerPoint slide production
- Monthly newsletter production and distribution
- Receive, and respond to – or reroute as appropriate – postal mail and email messages at the church office
- Answer the phone during posted business hours (Tue – Thu, 9a – 12p) and receive and respond to – or reroute as appropriate – voicemail messages received.
- Ensure the information in the Church Management System (ChMS) is up to date.
- Other duties as required
Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Familiarity with these applications is preferred:
- Lutheran Service Builder
- Adobe InDesign
- Breeze ChMS
This position will report directly to the Pastor.
This position requires work be performed on-site at the church office.
This position is part-time, and therefore not benefit-eligible.
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 16.0 per week
