Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain precise medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensure compliance with NCQA standards and ICD coding practices (ICD-9/10).
- Provide patient education on health coaching topics such as geriatrics andchronic disease management
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to perform accurate assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with unique neurological conditions—demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and laboratory procedures essential for specimen collection/processing and maintaining a safe environment.
- Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education sessions on pain management or medication administration, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
