Your responsibilities will include food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and provide an excellent, friendly experience
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, for efficient and accurate order processing
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and addressing customer inquiries
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
- Maintain clean and tidy bakery environment, including sanitizing work areas and display case
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies and ensure products are displayed attractively
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service/fast food restaurant environments is preferred
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus
- Familiarity with cashiering, retail math, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards
