Assistant Warehouse Manager — Luxury Event Linen Rental (Growth Path to Manager)
I Do Linens · Atlanta, GA (Westside) · Full-time · On-site · Monday–Friday $20/hour to start, with a clear path to Warehouse Manager
About us. I Do Linens is an established, growing luxury linen rental and manufacturing company. Every week we outfit ~85 weddings and events across the country, and every order has to leave our warehouse exactly right — correct, complete, pressed, and on time. Our warehouse is the heart of the business.
The role. We're hiring an Assistant Warehouse Manager to run our shipping & receiving and help lead the floor day to day — a hands-on role built with a real path to running the whole operation. In the mornings, you run the checkout: every outbound order scanned, verified, and exactly right before it leaves. The rest of the day, you help lead a team of 8 through washing, pressing, folding, and packing, keeping the line moving and the standard high. You'll report directly to ownership, and as you prove yourself, you'll take on more — with the goal of growing into the Warehouse Manager seat.
What you'll do — specifically:
- Run shipping & receiving: check every order out and in using our RFID scanning system, verify counts against orders, catch missing or damaged items before they become problems
- Help lead the floor team through the daily production flow — assign work, keep the press line fed, and flex people to where the work is
- Own quality control on your shift: nothing leaves below standard, and you're a final check
- Keep inventory data accurate; track and reorder supplies on a consistent schedule
- Help build weekly schedules for the delivery/install crews
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs
- Run a short daily floor huddle; walk the floor; find what's slowing us down and fix it
- Report to managment weekly with a clear picture of how the operation is running
What we're looking for:
- You've led or helped lead a team — in a warehouse, production, logistics, hospitality, or events operation — and held people to a standard
- You're precise. You double-check. You catch the error before it ships, and it bothers you when things go out wrong
- You're steady and dependable: consistent attendance, consistent output, calm on busy mornings
- You take ownership without being asked — when you see a problem, you fix it or flag it
- You're comfortable with scanners, tablets, and inventory software (we'll train you on ours)
- You can be trusted completely with company equipment, systems, and property
- You can be on your feet and lift/move product throughout the day
- You want to grow. This role is built for someone who wants to earn their way into running the operation.
- A plus, not required:
- RFID inventory experience, event/rental industry, textile or commercial laundry background.
- Bilingual Spanish / English
Growth & what you get:
- $20/hour to start, with a formal review at 90 days and a path for growth
- A defined path to Warehouse Manager as you prove yourself and as the company grows
- A stable Monday–Friday schedule
- A direct line to ownership — no layers, real ownership of your floor
- A well-run, systemized operation (RFID tracking, digital order system) — not chaos you have to untangle
- A key seat in a growing company, with room to grow as we do
