Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Handle food with care, using proper knife skills for slicing, dicing, and preparing ingredients efficiently
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of pizza and coordinating meal presentation
Experience
- Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is highly valued
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service with a focus on pizza or similar cuisine
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or the food industry enhances your culinary versatility
- Strong knife skills and meal preparation abilities are essential for efficiency in the kitchen
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and serving processes is advantageous
- Kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment demonstrates your ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
