Crisis Evaluator (Per Diem / On-Call) In Person not Remote.

The Crisis Evaluator provides compassionate, timely crisis intervention and clinical assessment services for individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises. This role works collaboratively with clients, families, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure patients are connected to the safest and least restrictive level of care.
This position is ideal for an experienced clinician seeking flexible, as-needed scheduling in a fast-paced and rewarding crisis environment.
- Conduct crisis assessments for individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies
- Provide clinical recommendations and determine appropriate levels of care
- Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and community agencies to support safe treatment planning
- Assist with coordination of behavioral health services and referrals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in on-call coverage as assigned
- Per Diem-On Call After Clinic Hours at Geneva General Hospital and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital
- High-impact clinical role supporting individuals in crisis
- Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is not reasonably anticipated; normal work routines do not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
Requirements:
Licensure
- Current New York State license as one of the following:
- Mental Health Counselor
- Licensed Social Worker
- Registered Nurse
- Creative Arts Therapist
- Valid New York State driver's license with a driving record consistent with FLH policy
Certifications
- BLS certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
Experience
- Minimum: 1 year of experience in a mental health or hospital setting
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a mental health setting
Compensation: $31.25-$40.87
