Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator/Welder/Assembler to join our dynamic family oriented manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately produce components
- Measure and mark metal materials using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precise cuts and fits
- Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal, pipes, and other metal materials using plasma cutters, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Operate CNC Plasma and Press Brake
- Perform welding operations including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding according to AWS (American Welding Society) standards
- Use plasma cutters for fabrication tasks requiring complex cuts and fittings
- Assemble fabricated parts with mechanical fasteners or welding techniques while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and quality control measures implemented during each shift
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction sites or in a fabrication shop environment with metal materials
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW and welding standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints accurately
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools for quality assurance
- Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes including plasma cutting, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly procedures
- Experience operating power tools and hand tools safely in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to welding operations and metal fabrication environments
- Ability to perform shop math calculations necessary for precise measurements and fabrication tasks
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Pay: $18.00 - $25.50 per hour
