Family Focused Services is a Social Services Agency committed to working side- by-side with families to address their unique needs. We are hiring for multiple Family Connections Consultant positions throughout Maricopa and Pima Counties.
Essential Functions of a Family Connections Consultant
The Family Connections Consultant (FCC) will provide services in Maricopa or Pima Counties to families referred by the Department of Child Safety (DCS) to participate in the Family Connections program by:
- Attending paid in-depth training provided by Arizona Department of Child Safety
- Successfully managing a caseload of 5 to 12 families (based on part-time/full-time status)
- Conducting direct service to Family Connections participants via home visits
- Communicating directly with DCS Specialists
- Participating in supervision with clinical supervisor weekly
- Completing weekly progress notes in a timely fashion
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or other Human Service-related field (i.e. psychology, education)
- AND at least one year of related experience working with families
- Driver’s License, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Pre-employment, bi-annual and random drug screening
- Flexible schedule – must be available to meet clients need which may include evenings or weekends
