Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay: $27.00+ per hour, commensurate with experience
Hoblit Darling Ralls Hernandez & Hudlow LLP, an AV-rated insurance defense and civil litigation firm, is looking for an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our San Antonio office. Take real ownership of a caseload — from commencement through trial prep.
What you’ll do:
- Manage your own assigned caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters under attorney supervision
- Conduct legal research and cite checking
- Draft pleadings and assist with substantive case documents
- Prepare and maintain discovery
- Track and manage critical deadlines with precision
- Handle Court filings accurately and efficiently
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of paralegal experience (required); insurance defense or civil litigation background strongly preferred
- A self-starter who thrives with autonomy but works well on a team
- Sharp analytical and organizational skills, with genuine attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfort with case management software and Microsoft Office
