Position Summary
ARCO Restoration is seeking an experienced and motivated Water Mitigation Manager to lead our mitigation department. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations, manage field personnel, ensure projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with industry standards, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the restoration process. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive knowledge of water mitigation, drying principles, insurance restoration, and IICRC standards. They are organized, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality results while fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the water mitigation department.
- Supervise, train, and mentor mitigation technicians.
- Schedule crews, equipment, and emergency response services.
- Conduct site inspections and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
- Monitor drying progress and review moisture documentation.
- Review job documentation, photos, and daily logs for accuracy.
- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, adjusters, and homeowners throughout the restoration process.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Monitor department productivity, job profitability, and quality control.
- Maintain inventory of mitigation equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with after-hours emergency response rotation as needed.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of water mitigation experience, including supervisory or management experience.
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification required.
- Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) preferred.
- Strong understanding of psychrometry, structural drying, and restoration best practices.
- Experience with moisture mapping, documentation, and restoration software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with insurance claims and carrier programs.
- Knowledge of Xactimate and restoration management software.
- Previous experience managing emergency service teams.
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
