Role Overview:
As a Porter Maintenance Technician in training, you are the “front line” of customer service, directly supporting our tenants and ensuring our properties are well-maintained. You will troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues as directed by our senior Maintenance Technician. This role requires traveling between multiple sites as needed to maintain facilities and support the property management team in keeping operations efficient and tenant satisfaction high.

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily upkeep of property grounds – keep exterior areas clean and garbage-free
- Power washing buildings and sidewalks as needed
- Assisting with work orders under the supervision of our experienced technicians
- Learning maintenance tasks including light plumbing, electrical, and A/C basics
- Helping with apartment turns and repairs
- Supporting overall property appearance and cleanliness
- Communicate professionally with tenants to schedule and complete repairs
- Use online work order systems (training provided) to view tasks, update notes, and close work orders via computer or smartphone
- Provide daily updates to the property management team
- Travel regularly between multiple property sites across Tampa Bay
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Clean background check including drug, criminal, credit, and driving history
- Strong communication skills; fluency in English is a plus but not required
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
