Seeking an experienced Embroidery Machine / Decoration Operator, you will work within our Manufacturing Team to place customer logos on our many apparel or other products. As part of our skill-based program, you'll be trained to run the machines and put your passion to work while building a strong, well-rounded skill set that will catalyze your career.
Primary Activities:
- Sets up and adjusts machines for proper operation
- Examines product for manufacturer defects, position of design, logo clarity, color accuracy or other flaws and adjusts equipment accordingly if needed
- Ensures that the proper supplies are being used for decorating
- Reads and follows Manufacturing Orders to make sure orders are decorated according to specifications (quality, accuracy and layout)
- Monitors automated systems for maximum output
- May package product for shipping, making sure proper box size and packing procedures are followed and ensuring that only products meeting quality standards are packed to ship to our customers
- Completes reporting and necessary daily paperwork as instructed, including production log of quantity produced, scrap and related information
- Performs preventive maintenance duties, daily cleaning and lubricating.
- Maintains effective working relationships with other associates
- Maintains a clean and neat work area
- Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement.
- Demonstrates flexibility and commitment through cross training and helping other departments consistent with business needs
- Performs duties safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor/management
- 1-2 Years Embroidery experience ideal.
This is great position for someone who is dependable, detail oriented, creative and adaptable/flexible.
Regular Hours: Approx 28 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 8 AM to 2 PM and Friday: 8 AM to 12 PM
Overtime Maybe Required during the Holiday Season.
