Accounting & Finance Manager – Multi-Unit SERVPRO + Reconstruction

Overview
We’re hiring an Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting for three SERVPRO franchises plus our Reconstruction division. This role owns QuickBooks Online accuracy, A/R, A/P, reconciliations, journal entries, liability tracking, insurance administration, and SERVPRO royalty reporting. Beyond day-to-day accounting, this role serves as a financial thought partner to ownership and leadership—providing visibility into cash flow, margins, risk, and operational performance. You will help leadership understand the story behind the numbers and support informed decision-making across the business.
Strategic & Financial Leadership
- Partner with ownership and operations leadership to provide financial insight and recommendations
- Monitor cash flow across entities and proactively flag risks, trends, or constraints
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (as applicable)
- Identify process improvements to strengthen financial controls, accuracy, and efficiency
- Help leadership understand margins, cost drivers, and profitability by division
- Serve as the primary financial point of accountability across entities
What You’ll Do
- Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online across multiple entities and divisions
- Complete monthly reconciliations in QBO
- Post journal entries, including accruals, corrections, allocations, and reclasses
- Track and maintain accuracy of liabilities and balance sheet accounts
- Administer insurance coordination and documentation (General Liability, Workers’ Comp support, health insurance billing coordination)
- Prepare and submit SERVPRO royalty reports accurately and on time (after reconciliations are complete)
- Maintain Secretary of State filings and renewals for each entity
- Provide reporting to leadership, including cash position, A/R, A/P, and key issues
What Success Looks Like
- Clean, timely month-end close and reconciliations
- Accurate, on-time royalty reports
- Organized records with strong follow-through on A/R and A/P
- Proactive communication when issues or discrepancies arise
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (multi-entity experience preferred)
- Strong QuickBooks Online skills, including reconciliations and reporting
- Experience with A/R, A/P, journal entries, and monthly close
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines consistently
Preferred
- Construction or trades accounting experience
- Familiarity with franchise reporting and/or SERVPRO royalty reporting
- Experience supporting workers’ compensation audits and COI requests
