We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team and ensure our parts, supplies, and equipment are always organized and ready for our technicians.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain inventory of garage door parts, tools, and supplies
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments
- Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed to avoid shortages
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in company systems
- Organize and label stockroom and warehouse to maximize efficiency
- Work with office staff and technicians to ensure parts are available for scheduled jobs
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify accuracy
- Assist with returns, warranty parts, and vendor communications
- Support field technicians with timely parts fulfillment
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards in warehouse and storage areas
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or parts management preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift, move, and organize heavy parts and equipment (up to 75 lbs.)
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or ERP systems a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of garage door parts or construction industry preferred (but not required)
