The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. In this role, precision is paramount. You will be responsible for executing complex assemblies by strictly following documented work instructions, maintaining rigorous quality control standards, and adhering to all regulatory compliance demands.
Responsibilities
- Precision Assembly: Assemble complex mechanical components and basic electronic/electrical sub-assemblies according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
- Adherence to Instructions: Strictly follow detailed, step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing work instructions without deviation.
- Quality Control: Conduct self-inspections of work in progress and finished products to ensure zero defects and full compliance with quality metrics.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a clean, compliant workstation and document all production steps as required by regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, or other standards, depending on the industry).
- Basic Electronics Integration: Perform basic wiring, routing, and connecting of electronic components or wire harnesses into mechanical housings.
- Tool Operation: Safely and skillfully operate hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and basic electronic testing equipment (e.g., multimeters).
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably within a regulated industry (e.g., Medical Devices, Aerospace, Automotive, or Electronics manufacturing).
Technical Skills: Proven capability in intricate, high-precision mechanical assembly. Basic knowledge of electronics (wiring, identifying components, reading basic electrical schematics). Ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
Compliance Mindset: A proven track record of respecting strict quality control protocols and regulatory demands.
Attention to Detail: High manual dexterity and a sharp eye for identifying deviations, defects, or inconsistencies.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or electronics are a strong plus.
