Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions both in-person and via telehealth platforms, ensuring adherence to clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Engage clients in crisis intervention and crisis management techniques to ensure safety and stability during urgent situations.
- Utilize clinical documentation tools like EMR/EHR systems to accurately record patient care, medical records, treatment progress, and clinical notes following HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and research teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct mental health education sessions on topics such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, gender issues counseling, and chronic pain management.
Experience
- Licensed as a Mental Health Professional with active certification in accordance with state licensing boards.
- Proven experience working with children and adolescents in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience with pediatrics preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management strategies, and social work principles.
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders such as mental health conditions combined with substance use or developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology relevant to mental health diagnoses.
- Knowledge of telehealth therapy practices along with experience using EMR/EHR platforms for clinical documentation.
- Prior inpatient or outpatient experience within clinic settings; experience working with individuals with autism or geriatrics is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations involving trauma survivors or individuals experiencing grief or gender-related issues while maintaining clinical ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

Pay: $37.41 - $55.00 per hour
