Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and kitchen equipment across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. Key Responsibilities
- Inspections: Conduct regular walkthroughs of facilities, grounds, and machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate
- General Repairs: Perform pluming repairs(Leak,clogs), basic carpentry(Fixing doors, drywall, locks), and minor electrical work(Switches, lighting).
- Preventive Maintenance: Service & Inspect building systems such has HVAC units, ice makers, changing Filters, cleaning vents and sanitizing.
- Equipment Installation: Assemble,install, or set up new appliances, machinery, and equipment.
- Documentation: Inventory of parts, and submit shift reports or work orders to the General Manager. Coding Invoices to proper accounts.
- Emergency Response: Address immediate maintenance requests & assist with facility-related emergencies.
- Exterior Upkeep & Safety: Clear walkways & driveways (Debris, Snow, Etc.), maintain outdoor areas, and ensure fire alarms/ emergency exits are functional.
- Orders & Scheduled Maintenance: Ordering Cleaning Supplies for Housekeeper, Schedule regular maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of hands on experience in general maintenance, construction, or related technical trade.
- Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator: Must have CPO or AFO Certification
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using common hand and power tools, Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including lawn & garden irrigation systems is highly desired.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, standing for long periods of time, and working in various environments.
- Certifications: A high School Diploma or GED. Vocational training or certifications in HVAC or building Maintenance are a plus, Violation Free Drivers License
