Come join a crew that is passionate about food and making the best ice cream sammies! We are a high volume production bakery & creamery supplying our downtown shop, ice cream trucks and umbrella carts as well as hundreds of markets, cafes, and grocery stores.
We are hiring counter server staff to to serve ice cream sammies from our downtown shop. We are a seasonal business (April thru October) and are not able to guarantee hours from November thru March. Pay starts at $12/hr + tips, averaging $22-$23/hr with tips. This is a great position for someone that likes to travel or work in warmer climates in the winter or is attending school and has a flexible schedule!
Primary Responsibilities & Qualification for Counter Server Position
-Serve customers at the counter; scooping ice cream sandwiches to order and running a POS to ring them up at the register
-Maintaining a positive attitude and helping out your fellow crew members by completing sidework and assigned tasks to keep everything running smoothly.
-Providing great customer service by engaging with customers and helping them to choose their perfect sammie.
-Opening or closing the shop, including reconciling cash drawer, completing all closing tasks.
Weekends/summer holidays are our busiest times and are required availability.
