Duties
- Assist with daily routines such as light housekeeping, errands, dressing if applicable
- Ensure safety by adhering and mandated reporting laws
- Communicate clearly with client
- Support client with disabilities by adapting activities and environments to meet individual needs
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages learning and play while following health guidelines like first aid procedures
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique needs
- Proven ability with patience and compassion
- Certified in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during emergencies
- Excellent communication skills
