Management Trainee – Midland, MI
Saginaw Retail Group is seeking a motivated Management Trainee for our Midland-area team. This position provides hands-on experience in customer service, retail sales, business operations, and leadership development.
Our Management Trainees learn the business from the customer level first. You will work in an established retail environment where you'll interact directly with customers, learn assigned products and services, identify customer needs, and assist with the sales and enrollment process.
The goal of our training is to develop well-rounded team members who understand both the customer experience and the day-to-day performance standards of a retail team.
As you gain experience and demonstrate consistent results, you may receive additional training in leadership, coaching, team development, and operational responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional and knowledgeable customer service
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Identify customer needs through effective communication
- Learn assigned products, services, features, and promotions
- Present appropriate product and service options
- Assist customers with retail sales and enrollment
- Maintain current product and service knowledge
- Work toward individual and team performance goals
- Participate in paid training and ongoing coaching
- Develop problem-solving and professional communication skills
- Learn performance tracking and goal-setting fundamentals
- Gain exposure to leadership and team development responsibilities
- Support a positive and professional retail environment

Compensation
Guaranteed Base Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour
This is a W-2 hourly position with guaranteed base compensation within the listed range.
Employees may also have opportunities to earn additional performance-based compensation based on individual results. Performance-based earnings are not guaranteed and are paid in addition to hourly base compensation.
