We're looking for a motivated L&G Service Technician to join our service team. In this hands-on role, you'll perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on customer and dealership-owned turf equipment while delivering the quality workmanship and service our customers rely on. What You'll Do:

Perform basic diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on turf equipment.

Participate in company provided training programs to develop technical skills.

Communicate maintenance recommendations and repair needs with customers and Service Manager and accurately document work performed.

Stay current on John Deere and competitive equipment products.

Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and inventory in safe, working condition.

Complete work orders, reports, and required documentation accurately.

Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety procedures.

Accurately track labor and materials used on each repair.

Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:

Basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills used in the repair and maintenance of turf equipment.

Ability to perform repairs using technical manuals, specialized tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Experience with Service Advisor and basic computer applications preferred.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds and safely operate equipment.

Basic Service Technician Certification preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria.

Must pass a DOT physical and renew certification annually as a condition of continued employment.

Forklift certification or experience preferred.

Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay Information:
The hourly pay range for this position is $18 to $26. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base hourly wage for this role. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
In Season Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, Saturday 7am-12pm OR 7am-3pm (rotation determined by store)
Off Season/Winter Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
*In Season Hours may be extended during peak seasons (planting, harvest, or any other peak selling season) to meet the needs of the store. Extended Hours are determined by the needs of the store and subject to change. *
*Off Season Hours are from November-March. Start and end date to winter hours is dependent on year and subject to change. *
