Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic cleaning team. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain carpet cleaning equipment, including extractors, buffers, and floor scrubbers to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform thorough carpet cleaning using appropriate chemical agents and techniques to remove stains, dirt, and allergens.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely, adhering to all safety protocols related to chemical agent handling and environmental standards.
- Execute janitorial and custodial tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and detailed floor care to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Assist with heavy lifting of equipment or furniture when necessary while following manual handling safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning results.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services, with specific knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs daily
- Room for growth for our restoration department, willing to advance and be on a rotating on call after hours for emergency services.
- Familiarity with floor care processes including floor buffing, waxing, refinishing, and environmental services practices.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy equipment or materials as required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly desirable; familiarity with environmental services standards is a plus.
