Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Engage actively with guests, providing friendly, attentive, and personalized service to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following established procedures for bar area hygiene and food safety management.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process orders accurately and handle transactions smoothly.
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal regulations and company policies on food safety and responsible service.
- Restock bar supplies regularly, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available for service.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a lively yet safe environment that encourages guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- At least 2 years proven experience in a restaurant or bar setting, demonstrating strong customer service skills.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a bartender
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management practices essential for maintaining a clean and compliant workspace.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system for order processing and transaction handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service laws and regulations for the State of Kansas
- Prior experience in food safety practices is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Wage
Base pay starts at $8 + tips.
We are looking for a bartender who has an outgoing and charismatic personality. Our bartenders need to have the customer service fluency to poach customers waiting for a table, and give them a new-found desire to sit at the bar instead. You need to be knowledgeable about spirits and classic cocktails, with a flair for teaching servers about the flavor profiles of drinks.
