Salvation Marine Services is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our team!
As a Marine Sales & Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in helping customers find the right products for their boating needs while providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
Responsibilities:
- Sell Yamaha outboards, Minn Kota products, Garmin products, used outboards and other marine accessories
- Assist customers with product recommendations and sales inquiries
- Assist with incoming phone calls and assist with customer questions
- Support front desk operations including customer check-ins and service drop-offs
- Create and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Assist customers with parts, service scheduling, and general inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom and sales area
- Work closely with the service team to ensure an outstanding customer experience
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sales experience required
- Basic boating or marine knowledge is required
- Must be dependable, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to learn product information and educate customers
- Comfortable using computers and handling multiple tasks throughout the day
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
- PLUS 10% commission of the profit of qualifying sales
- Health insurance reimbursement available
- Paid vacation and sick leave
- Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday through Friday
